Ear Collection

Just listen.

The portrait is everywhere. Even in the absence of people, their image can be recognized.

People carry their uniqueness with them everywhere – like the fingerprint, the iris of the eye, facial proportions as well as the DNA, there is always only one single copy. In addition to portraits of unique ears, in my series I also collect conversations and experiences that my models want to share with me during the painting session. The collection in compact overview serves as a register of different situations and characters, which reveal themselves to the viewer only in the smallest detail. Unknown are the names of the models as well as the future extent of this series.
